Hougland Table

 This private commisioned walnut table and dining chairs was completed in january 07. It is 10 ft by 3.5ft. It has a 2inch thick top with a 2 inch lip all the way round, giving it the chunky look without the weight. Each corner has celtic knot work carved across the top and down over both sides. The chairs are based on the shetland chair design and altered slightly to become dining chairs. Each has a celtic pattern carved into the back. There are 8 dining chairs and 2 carvers.
