Lerwick Tourist Centre Reception desk

The design for this reception desk was inspired by the shape of a traditional Peat stack. The curved ash boards were ingrained with peat which both links the finish to the design inspiration and also helps to enhance the grain pattern. The work surfaces are made from Oak with two different heights giving room for disabled access.
